Almost all historians rant about what a homely fellow Abe Lincoln was. 

Even old Abe when accused of being 2-faced 

said "If I were two-faced, would I be wearing this one?" 

I don't see it. With or with out his beard he  was IMHO, a handsome man. 

Sad, strong, but very handsome.
